Dear Friends,
Welcome to our forum of the Institute of Constructivist Psychology which I think is a useful and interesting initiative for everyone involved in the different fields who wants to share and discuss ideas on constructivism. After all constructivism is at home where ever there are people who ask themselves about the significance which is brought about by self-reflection, interior dialogues, interactions with others or who ask themselves questions about the reciprocal and continuous game of interpretations or about the bodies being the emerging places of the sense of experiences.
Even though the forum has a co-ordinator, it is a space accessible to everyone who wants to discuss the ideas and development of constructivism. It is a space which I feel was lacking and needed to be created.
Why? Simply because the alternatives to constructivism are quite worrying: on one hand realism which is the door for all sorts of dogma (and of wars which are made in the name of any truth), on the hand, relativism which diminishes the sense of responsibility.
This is why we cannot leave out any temptation to find, create and increase spaces and opportunities for debate.
The wish – perhaps a little pretentious – is that this tiny virtual space becomes a cauldron of ideas.
Please, join in!
